Job Title: Strategic Operations Coordinator
 
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
 
Position Overview:
The Strategic Operations Coordinator is a role that works directly with the COO and Co-Founders on a daily basis to support company operations and execute company systems and processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will draw from several areas including daily operations, warehouse management, customer experience, marketing, events, and a no-job-is-too-small attitude.

The ideal candidate must be highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks at once while working in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will be a resourceful, dynamic, hard working person that is ready to have an immediate impact growing the company. This position will be exciting, challenging, urgent, and rewarding on a daily basis. This position is a great first role within a rapidly growing startup with room for advancement as the company grows.

Education/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Comfortable with technology and excited to grow in this field
  • Design experience is a plus

 
Work Location: This role will be based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. There will be significant time spent at our Ann Arbor warehouse/headquarters as well as opportunity to work remote. There will also be some travel potential, depending on the candidate.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Directly support the Co-Founders, COO, and company at large
  • Communicate with management team to direct and confirm execution of company mission
  • Work closely with team to ensure successful growth of company
  • Assist with integral business operation procedures – be the overseer of the "day to day"
  • Assist supervision of warehousing staff and provide leadership / constructive feedback
  • Promote a continuous improvement philosophy in operations, evaluating current practices and refining them as needed to meet company goals more effectively
  • Help to develop team members in their current roles and identify candidates for promotion
  • Support special customer requests

 
Special Demands: This position requires a flexible work schedule and limited off-hours/weekend work when needed
